Mr.waiswa Ben Godfrey retired from service recently in may 2025 and a new Headteacher Mr.Muwumba David was transfered From Kingandalo SS, Mayuge district to Iganga High School to fill the gap.
The ministry of education and sports had to look for a strong, Vibrant, Visioned and with dedication to work and out of which Mr.Muwumba David was sourced. Mr Muwumba David thanked the retired headteacher Mr.Waiswa Ben Godfrey for the years he served iganga high school and even for all the development projects like face lifting the school, increased population, discipline among the children, academic excellence, good staffing, prompt payments of salaries and wages to the workers, books in stock, ICT innovations,Buildings built and those on the way among others. Mr.Muwumba told the gathering that he is ready to serve the school very well and to make sure that it reaches the climax.
