Iganga High School has a total of 137 staff members with 102 of these comprising of the Academic/Teaching Staff, the remaining 35 being Non-academic/Non-teaching Staff. 59 of these were posted by The Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES) while the remaining 65 are employed locally by the Board of Governors (BOG) plus the Parents and Teachers’ Association (PTA). (see summary table below.)

We have a great team of hardworking instructors whose fabulous effort has led to the progress of Iganga High School. The school Currently has a total of 102 teaching staff members, with 56 on government payroll while 46 are locally employed. (see table below for a full list)
